Orientation Event and Freshers 2019
Smt. Devkiba Mohansinhji Chauhan College of Commerce & Science organized Orientation Event and Freshers 2019 on 26th July 2019.
The atmosphere of college was filled with enthusiasm and energy.
Under the Orientation Event, Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Ambadas Jadhav addressed the first year students and also expressed regret that, despite of increase in seats in the commerce and B.M.S. this year, We can’t grant admissions to many wait listed students and will try to bring more seats next year. On this occasion information about different facets of college, different courses of college, college system and various creative activities of college were provided to new students.
On this occasion Shri. Fatehsinhji M. Chauhan, Chairman of Lions Club of Silvassa Charitable Trust, welcomed the first year students and gave them best wishes for a bright future. Chief guest Vice Chairman Shri. Anant D. Nikam congratulated first year students for becoming part of Smt. Devkiba College and the University of Mumbai. He told the students to follow their responsibilities and become a better student, person and a better citizen.
At the Fresher’s Party, first year students enjoyed various cultural programs and different fun games organized by senior students. Mr. and Miss Fresher’s Event was also organized in this program.
